This one is used as a side dish for almost any caribbean plate and it's a favorite among islanders.
All you need is:
Peel the ripe plantains and cut twice in half as shown below.
Add butter to an oven pan and and place the plantain inside. Add melted butter on top of the plantain and sprinkle as much brown sugar as wanted on top. Bake at 375° for 55-60 minutes depending on how brown you want them.
